Abstract
A workshop explores issues and methodologies related to neural network development and implementation. Selected business applications are used to illustrate the characteristics, structure, computational logic, implementation procedure, and the strengths and weaknesses of neural networks. Two software tools developed for simplifying the neural network development are demonstrated.
